Developing speed, balance and coordination at an early age.
Pictured above is Ronnie, an exciting young player, who currently plays for May and Baker u9s in the Echo Junior League in East London. Ronnie has had much success for his club over the past 2 seasons including awards such as most improved player and parents player of the year.
I have been working with Ronnie for several months now. The aim has been to develop his ABC,s ( agility balance and coordination) and utilise the amazing energy levels he has into technical ability with both feet.
Working both feet is a major part of any session as is working on correct body movement when developing 1st touch, dribbling, turns and skills in 1v1 situations.
During the 1000s of touches he will get in the hour session we work hard on the technical aspects of his game using ABC exercises with the ball to make him faster and more efficient.
In all my sessions there are always exercise that can be taken away and practised at home.
Keep going Ronnie!
