Libby: Leyton Orient

The latest player to be questioned in this feature is Libby Stubbs. I worked with Libby during the close season on fitness and technical conditioning.

Position: Centre Midfield

Favourite player: Paul Scholes

Football History: I started playing at the age of 4 with boys teams. I then progressed into a Sunday Girls team. At age 14-16 I started playing for the Essex County Girls Team. Between 16-18 I played full time at Barking Abbey Football Academy. We won the English Colleges National League 2 years running. After that I went to play in America on a full time scholarship for St Louis Community College. Now I play for Leyton Orient but also train with Crystal Palace Reserves.

Training Schedule: Monday: gym strength and conditioning. Tuesday: Crystal Palace Training, Wednesday: Orient Training, Friday: rest day. Sunday: game

Ambition this season: to transfer over to Crystal Palace at the end of the season

Long Term Ambition: to keep improving as a player and get a chance to play in the Women’s Championship or Women’s Super League

Boots you wear: Predator 18.1 in black

Best goal scored: The winning goal in the last minute against Kansas City in the Regional Final in the USA.
